Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
By using WatchWise Kids (the "Service") you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
What the Service does
WatchWise Kids analyzes the public metadata of a YouTube video (its title, channel, and thumbnail) and gives you an explainable, first-pass guidance verdict. It does not watch the full video.
Guidance, not a guarantee
Verdicts are informational guidance to assist a parent's own judgment— not a guarantee of safety or a substitute for adult supervision. Because we assess limited metadata, a video marked "safe" may still contain content you would not approve of, and a video flagged for review may be perfectly fine. Always use your own judgment and supervise your child's viewing.
Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful, personal, family purposes.
- Do not attempt to abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service or its rate limits.
- Do not use the Service to build a competing dataset or product.
Accounts & early access
Early access is offered in batches. We may change features, limits, or pricing before general availability, and we will communicate clearly before charging anyone. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
No warranty & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchWise Kids is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its verdicts.
